Booking a photography session with Svetlana Dimitrova Photographer
The booking process begins by you signing a contract and paying a non-refundable session fee. This ensures that your session date is booked. No images are included in the session fee.
You will receive my Welcome Guide to help you prepare for your photo session, along with a questionnaire that helps me get to know you and your expectations better before the session. We will also schedule a phone consultation to discuss the details.
Session details
Portrait Sessions are held outdoors at a location of your choice or in the comfort of your own home. Sessions are held two hours before sunset or just after sunrise and typically last 1-1.5 hours.
Maternity sessions are best booked for 30-36 weeks. The belly has a nice round shape during this time frame and the expectant mom still feels comfortable enough for a portrait session. These sessions can be held in your home, outdoors or why not a mix of both?
The best time to photograph your newborn baby is when they are under two weeks of age. You can contact me at any time during your pregnancy to give me an estimated due date, and I will then make a tentative booking and when you are back home with your brand new baby you can contact me to arrange a suitable time and day for your session. Your newborn session takes place in your home any time before noon and can take 2-3 hours, allowing plenty of time for feeding and comforting.

After your session
A couple of weeks after your photo shoot we’ll meet again for you to view your beautiful gallery of portraits and purchase the ones you love. There is no obligation to invest a certain amount or choose a collection in advance. What you buy is completely up to you and you can make that decision when you see your photographs.
